From ActualMed we have developed a new specific training course in the most important standard that underlies all digital medical image communication: DICOM.
Who is it for?
The course is aimed at all those professionals in the Information Technology sector applied to health. That is, personnel responsible for the systems of digital medical image archiving (PACS), integration of Electronic Medical History (HIS) and, in general, those responsible for the daily flow of digital medical image information communication. effectively and optimally.
Course Objectives
It aims to provide complete knowledge around the DICOM standard in order to provide the professional with the tools and knowledge that are required for an effective administration of the digital medical imaging system of your hospital environment.
Course content
The communication between the different modules that integrate digital medical information (HIS, RIS, PACS, Worklist, Modalities, Workstations), digital medical image treatment, workflow optimization, teleradiology, setting will be analyzed from a theoretical point of view underway of new DICOM modules or modalities, migration and scaling of PACS systems.
The course also includes a practical part, where open source tools widely used in this environment will be analyzed in detail.
The content of the standard will be treated at an advanced level, from the lowest level, so it is recommended that you have a technical knowledge base.
Temporality
We combine classroom and distance training for this course. The total duration is 45 hours, of which 6 hours are face-to-face, distributed in 3 days.
